1. Read Scripture: Psalm 19:1–11; 2 Timothy 3:14–17

2. Teaching Segment
A. General Revelation

B. Special Revelation
Necessary – We cannot know the way of salvation without it.
Sufficient – It contains all we need for faith and godliness.
Clear – Not obscure, but understandable to God’s people.
Authoritative – God Himself speaks.
C. Implications for Apologetics
D. Reformed Distinctive
Calvin: “God lisps to us as nurses are wont to do with little children” (Institutes 1.13.1).

3. Real-Life Case Study
Scenario:
A neighbor says: “The Bible is just a book written by men. Why trust it more than any other ancient text?”
Steps to Work Through:
Ask: “Why do you believe it’s only human? What do you think about God’s ability to reveal Himself?”
Affirm Humanity: Yes, it was written by human authors.
Confess Divine Inspiration: But those men were “carried along by the Holy Spirit” (2 Pet 1:21).
Point to Christ: The Scriptures testify to Jesus (Luke 24:27). To reject the Bible is to reject the One it reveals.
