• Definition (Berkhof): Providence is God’s continuous involvement with creation, preserving, governing, and directing all things.
• Key Text: Psalm 103:19.
• Why This Matters: Providence gives courage in suffering and confidence in daily life.

2. Aspects of Providence
A. Preservation

• Hebrews 1:3
• God sustains all things by His word.

B. Government

• 
Proverbs 16:9 - God directs human steps.

• Daniel 2:21 - God removes and sets up kings.


C. Concurrence

• Human actions and divine will operate concurrently.

3. Providence and Suffering
